Love this boy!

JD loves to do whatever Daddy does. He reads Daddy's books, wears Daddy's hats and sticks his arm out straight trying to keep Daddy's watch on his arm.

We picked Daddy up from Orlando two weekends ago and we went to the Animal Kingdom Lodge where the rooms overlook animals (This is where Jeremy's cousin Jenna works).

We saw Zebras! Grandma would like that.

This is the only picture I have of JD's face because all the rest are the back of his head since he had to look at the animals and show me the birds and things.

Airfest and sunburns

Our 6 year anniversary was March 20th. We celebrated it by going to the Air Force Airfest at MacDill AFB. When we first got there we had to wait in a long line to get in. JD was so excited that there were airplanes in the air. Anytime they would fly by with smoke or do a crazy manuvere he would say, "Noh no!" (uh no). Once we got inside Marco (Megan's boyfriend) meet us since Megan (Betsie's cousin) had to work the Gyros and Pitas booth. JD only wanted Marco to hold him and he lead him around to see all the planes. It was really cute and funny since Megan wants him to play with her and JD simply ignores her. We all got a little sunburned too.

Here at last!

Finally after months of waiting and waiting, we all three have made our way to Tampa, Florida. Here are some pictures in our apartment complex. There are 2 lakes or ponds or whatever you call it. There are fish in the water too so we can fish but no swimming. Jeremy was teasing me that there were alligators so I wouldn't let JD go near but then he said there wouldn't be any near people but then we found a sign that said not to feed them so I don't doubt that perhaps there could be a gator from time to time. JD loves all the animals and things here. He is making lots of friends. The nursey has about 10 kids so that's a change from 2.

Brandon, FL

I got a job in Florida in a suburb of Tampa called Brandon. I am transferring with Bank of America and will be the assistant manager. My last day in Vegas will be February 25th. I start work in FL on March 1st. I am so excited to be back with Jeremy but I will miss my family. Anyone is welcome to come stay and visit. We are only about 1 1/2 hours away from DisneyWorld!

JD's surgery

JD has had ear infections since the beginning of January. So last Tuesday he had tubes put in his ears and the fluid drained from his ear drums. It went very well and he is on the way to being a happier and healthier boy.
He got to take the hospital gown home with him since he fell asleep in it and the nurse didn't want to wake him to make him scream more. In the picture above he was doing 'ring around the rosie' by himself. He always goes in circles when you get him in a bathroom with the door closed.... weird kid. Must take after his father....

He liked his feet bracelets and I had to fight him to take them off.

I am hoping to hear from the recruiter about me transferring to Florida. I don't know if I can wait any longer, I miss Jeremy so much. He has been away from home since June 2009. I pray that soon I will be reunited with him. JD misses him too. The other night after trying to call after Grandma to save him from his bedtime and noone came, he shouted out Dada! Dada! He also dropped one of his toys the other day and said, "My bad!".

Gasparilla Parade at Bayshore

While in Tampa 1/23/10 we went to the children's Gasparilla Parade at Bayshore. It was a lot of fun. We got lots of beads. I wish JD was there he would have had lots of fun.
Here's my handsome husband that is missed very much.

Here is my cousin Megan who lives in Tampa. I am excited to live close to her. She lived with Jeremy and I for about 9 months a couple of years ago. She can't wait for JD to be close too. He never wants to talk to her on the phone so she is determined for him to like her. JD loves to tease so that should be an adventure for them.

Tampa

I took a vacation week and moved all our things to Tampa. We put it into storage until I know what part of town I will be working in. I have a few more interviews and then hopefully we will be on our way to stay in Tampa. I loved the moss on the trees. Driving to Florida was definitely an adventure. My truck had the serpentine belt break due to bad bearings. Luckily we broke down 32 miles outside of Van Horn, Tx. This is a little town that is "the crossroads of the Texas Mountain Trail". It's where the 90 meets the 10, so there are lots of truckers that stop there so they had a tow truck and auto shop and Napa auto parts so they were able to fix our truck quickly and had the parts needed. We stay at the motel across from the auto mechanic and it also had a restaurant which was filmed in The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada, with Tommy Lee Jones. It was also fun to drive through Louisiana with miles and miles of swamp everywhere!!! It definitely was not like Vegas!

Jeremy is staying with my cousin Megan. Here is a picture of her and her boyfriend Marco (he's Canadian.....).
